Like the famous Verizon catch phrase, I am in...
into the blogging community... to write what i can think of in a short amount of time before other work and boredom creep in and demand that i stop writing.
into the published world, well at least the online version of it :D.
into a world full of oppurtunities to showcase my writing skills and improve them day after day, after day, after day.
As has been evident so far, I am not much of a writer.. but hope to be a good one someday. So please to bear with me; although i must say I am surprised you have reached so far.
I am totally in love with the phrase I came up with ... Alive to be glad. Well, you see, twisting words and sentences is my favourite timepass. My friends will vouch for the fact, having been at the recieving end of countless bad ones from me. They even have a category "EJ" named after me. Damn, to this day, I have to think twice if it is receive or recieve!! And i got it wrong too... this 'i' before 'e' really gets addictive at times my friend :D.
So one day, I was thinking hard to come up with a status message to use on MSN Messenger when this miracle catchphrase happened. I have seen some amazing phrases used by people, to reflect their current mood to their current favourite book, and was greatly inspired to create some original.. ahem.. ones of my own.
It is silly really. You start out writing a blog thinking you will write down random thoughts that occur in your mind. But if you look closely, you are choosing what to write at every step of the way. It is bloody annoying that what you want to be random is only an illusion created by that great trickster sitting pretty upstairs. You can't help but marvel at that.
Well, didn't expect my first blog to be this big.. nor for it to turn out this way. One of those random occurings, shall we say.......
